Almost 10 months

Where has the time gone?

I am a bit behind on my posts because we have been buying and selling houses - more on that later.

Around 9 1/2 months - right around the time the For Sale sign went on the front lawn - Lauren taught herself how to crawl. Great. She has progressed from army crawling to actual hands-and-knees-crawling. Unfortunately that system is much more efficient and she is really able to build up she speed now. Great. She also mastered going from laying down to sitting up again unassisted. I was shocked the first morning I walked into her room to find her in her sleepsack sitting on her bum smiling at me!

Needless to say, our lives have officially changed. You think just having a baby in your home would be the biggest change so far, but actually, having a CRAWLING BABY is an even bigger change. Imagine.

We are doing our best to baby proof the house but just when I think it's safe she manages to find something else to get into. We are very much looking forward to moving into our new house where we can put up permanent baby gates, put the TV and components up high and just generally be more baby safe.

Monday will make her 10 month birthday.
