I don't know if it's because it has been the Christmas season and I have been with Lauren every day for the last 2+ weeks, or if it's because she's had a nasty cold lately, or if it's because she is a RAGING two year old, but she is really trying my patience lately.
She is communicating more, but still not enough or in the right way for me to explain something to her or try to reason with her. Her eating habits and table manners are probably the most annoying thing. She dumps her plate, plays with her food, throws things on the ground .Ggggrrrrr!!!
It's so hard to keep myself together especially at the end of the day when everyone is tired. It's all I can do not to shake her!
When she is not driving me insane, I make sure I tell her as much as possible that I love her and that I understand she is just as frustrated as I am.
And at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. when she finally goes to bed, I have the mother of all dance parties.

Camera Hog
I was trying to capture Brier finding her voice, but her sister turned into a camera hog as usual and in the end stole the show. This is something I want to remember.
Cheese! CHEESE!!
Brier 5 months
I am sad to report that Brier is now 5 months old. If we could stop the clock now, I would. She is THE BEST BABY EVER! I am so lucky to have had her because otherwise I would have thought that all newborns suck.
Coffee Tawk
Lauren is now 27 months old. Her vocabulary is starting to increase which is great to see. I've been keeping a list of the common words and phrases she now uses because I am expecting Speach Services Niagara to be calling soon to follow up on the speach assessment she had in July.
So far it sounds like this:
