Lauren is very fond of her father lately. She will often say "Let's go see my friend dad." It's very cute unless you are the old forgotten mom.
Brier has some adorable isms of her own. If you hand her something and say "Brier, what do you say?" She comes back with "Wel-come!" Adorable!
They love music so we listen to a lot of Kidz Bop of YouTube. They squeal and dance (which is usually just walking in circles. Thrown in a few dollar store balloons and you've got yourself a party!

Three Amigos
Both girls are going through a Daddy phase. They only want him. They want nothing to do with me. Can't blame the really. He is fun, and handsome.

Christmas 2013
Christmas has once again come and gone. This year Brier was 17 months and Lauren was 3 years 3 months old.
We decided that along with all of the usual Christmas stress and over indulgence, we'd take the 10 consecutive days of vacation we had to potty train Lauren. So starting Saturday December 21 it was officially 'No More Diapers'! Day 1 sucked. We never made it to the potty. Each day got better and better until the flu hit our little princess on Dec 29 in the early morning hours. Then we went back to pull-ups for couple of days and now we are trying to get back into the rhythm we'd developed. Tomorrow it's back to work and daycare so we'll see how things go. She still wears pull ups at night, but during the day it's underwear. Brier is showing lots of interest in the process so we are hoping she will easy to train soon so somehow between the two, the money we've wasted on diapers over the last 3 years will even out. One can dream.
The kids of course were spoiled rotten this holiday season. Lauren received a trunk of princess dresses, shoes and jewels, they got a doll house and several other amazing (if you're 1 and 3) toys.
Playing with Bubble Guppies game
Cinnamon Bun breakfast in matching xmas PJs
All dressed up and ready for guests!
