Okay not quite 16 months, but close enough. Lauren is growing like a weed both in physical development and intelligence.
She is a full-fledged walker and runner now. She loves to climb the stairs and is learning to go down them on her bum too. Her vocabulary is not thriving, but she has mastered Da-da and Uh-oh! Still waiting for Ma-ma but it doesn't seem to be on the radar yet.
Her appetite is good, but she does have her favourite food items. Anything made of bread is her favourite which just proves she is directly related to her father and I. She recently had her Nanna's spaghetti and meatballs for the first time ever and she could not get enough. Another sure sign that she's a Young.
Her laugh is infectious and she loves to be chased especially when the person chasing her is growling at the same time. She is a thrill seeker.
She still fits comfortably into 18-24 month clothing and has finally learned to walk while wearing her winter boots. It's not as easy as you might think.
