Helping Daddy convert her crib!
Brier tried it out first
We decided on a whim to change Lauren over to her toddler bed for several reasons, one because my husband thinks we are stunting her development by keeping her in the crib (please note, this is not a valid reason) also it will be much easier if we ever go anywhere other than Grandma and Grandpa's house, and it was something I wanted to do before I go back to work due to the sleepless nights.
Which brings me to our next topic: lost sleep! The first night went off without a problem. We put her in bed at 7 p.m. with lots of books and a few new stuffies she was awake until about 9 p.m. but that's not unusual for her. Then we didn't hear from her until 6 a.m. - perfect! Nap time went fine also. The second night, unfortunately wasn't as good. She went to bed at 7p.m. as usual but around 9 a.m. she busted out of her room! I put her back in bed with minimal talking. Then at 3p.m. same thing! Busted out of the room, and we put her back in bed, but of course I couldn't fall back asleep. She was up bright and early at 6 a.m.
I am hoping this doesn't get any harder! I am thinking of putting a baby-prof door thing on the inside of the door so she can't open it and get out.
Jumping! Uh-oh!
Getting in and out.
