Dear Girls

Please don't ever change. Stop aging, stop growing, just stop!

Lauren, yes your epic tantrums when you throw yourself on the floor screaming, throw toys and slap the wall are getting a bit old, but so may other things about you right now are so great! Like how you LOVE people - people you know, people you don't. Like how you cry when people ring the doorbell but don't come in - like the purolator guy today or every trick-or-treater on Halloween. How you yell GOOD MORNING DADDY! when he gets home from work or HI, COME IN! Like the way you say DE DOO MA MOMMY, or how you pronounce Dora 'Hora' which makes me laugh inside every time. When we take you to a friend's house or the playcentre and it's time to go home you have a major melt-down and although that's annoying at the time, it is also kind of cute because it means you are having a great time and don't want to leave. When you are sitting beside you daddy at the table and suddenly lean over and give him a kiss it melts my heart.

Brier, those two little teeth poking through your lower gums is just about the cutest thing ever. The way you put your fist under your chin to hold your head up is beyond cute. When you smile at me because I looked at you or laugh when Lauren touches your foot I can't help but think how lucky we are to have you. You are little and cute and perfect and I want you to stay like this forever!

I am your mother and you WILL listen to me. Stay babies as long as possible. Please?

Mommy
